Privacy Policy

We, Ryobi Systems Co., Ltd. have made efforts in a wide range of corporate activities since our founding, holding the motto to contribute to the local community through our information processing service. We believe that it is our utmost duty and responsibility to manage a large amount of personal information of customers, business partners, shareholders, employees, and others securely in the process of handling it. Thus, we have created this Privacy Policy as a code of conduct with which our employees and any person involved in the handling of personal information must comply.

 

1. Formulation and Continuous Improvement of Personal Information Protection Management System

We make sure that our officers and employees are fully aware of the importance of protecting personal information, and we formulate and properly utilize the Personal Information Protection Management System based on JIS Q 15001 for the purpose of using and protecting personal information.

 

2. Acquisition and Use of Personal Information

We follow lawful and fair procedures to acquire personal information only when the person gives consent to the provision of such information, and we take appropriate measures to limit the use of the personal information within the scope of the purpose of its use, except for cases as prescribed by laws and regulations.

 

3. Provision and Entrustment of Personal Information

When we provide or entrust personal information to a third party, the provision shall be only within the scope of prior consent of the person, and the trustee shall be limited to our outsourcing contractor, except for cases as prescribed by laws and regulations. When we provide or entrust personal information to a third party, we will select a suitable party who has sufficient ability to protect personal information and take appropriate measures by contract and/or other means.

 

4. Appropriate Management of Personal Information

We take necessary and appropriate safety control measures to prevent leakage, loss, and/or damage of personal information we retain, and we strive to improve the safety control measures.  

 

5. Respect for Rights Regarding Personal Information

When a person (or an agent) makes a complaint or consultation request regarding his/her personal information handled by us, we will respect the rights of the person regarding his/her personal information and respond in all sincerity.  Furthermore, when a person (or an agent) requests disclosure, correction, deletion, refusal of use, or refusal of the provision of his/her personal information, we will respond in an appropriate and swift manner with regards to the personal information whose disclosure requests we can deal with.

 

6. Compliance with Laws, Regulations, and Norms

We comply with laws, regulations, guidelines set by the national government, and other norms applicable to the handling of personal information.

 

7. Inspection and Continuous Improvement of Personal Information Protection Management System

We regularly inspect and audit the status of our privacy protection operation to affirm that our system for personal information protection is operated properly.  Additionally, we regularly review our Personal Information Protection Management System, referring to and adjusting to the changes in the business environment, and strive to make continuous improvements.
